How do I book a tour?
Pick your tour and message us on WhatsApp with the date and number of travelers, or hold your spot online from the tour page. You pay a deposit per person ($200 MXN on most tours, $450 MXN on Isla Mujeres) and the rest on tour day.
Is payment secure?
Yes. The deposit is paid through a Stripe payment link, with encryption and buyer protection; Chi'ik Adventures never sees or stores your card details. You pay the rest on tour day in cash, or by Visa or Mastercard (+5%).
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. If you cancel 24 hours or more in advance, we refund your full deposit. Less than 24 hours before, the deposit is non-refundable. See our cancellation policy for all the details.
What currency do I pay in?
Our prices are in Mexican pesos (MXN), exactly as on our official price menus, and the deposit is charged in pesos. We also show an approximate amount in US dollars as a reference. Isla Mujeres is priced in US dollars.
Are the prices up to date?
Yes. The prices on the site are the same as on our official price menus and in our ads. If a tax or access fee is paid separately (for example in Tulum, Holbox or Río Lagartos), the tour page says so.
Are the reviews and ratings real?
Yes. The reviews you see on the site come from our Google profile and are written by real customers. We never invent or inflate numbers.
Is hotel pickup included?
Many tours include transport from hotels in Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and the Riviera Maya. Check the "What’s included" section of each tour to confirm.
Do I need to speak Spanish?
No. Most tours have guides in English and Spanish. Plus, our team helps you on WhatsApp in both languages before and during your trip.
When is the best time to visit the Riviera Maya?
November to April is dry and pleasant. Message us and we'll help you plan around your dates.
Does Chi'ik Adventures operate the tours directly?
We sell and organize every tour directly: you book with us, pay us, and we look after you on WhatsApp from start to finish. The tours are run by local operators we chose and know first-hand.
