1. Who we are

Chi'ik Adventures (chiikadventures.com) is a curated tour and experience platform in Cancún and the Riviera Maya, Mexico. Sandro Emanuel Cuevas Zepeda, located at Calle Ignacio López Rayón 12 int. 12, Col. Ciudad Guzmán Centro, C.P. 49000, Zapotlán el Grande, Jalisco, México, is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

2. Data we collect

We have no sign-up form or user accounts. We only collect personal data when you contact us or book with us:

• WhatsApp: your phone number, your profile name and the content of your messages (text, voice notes and location if you send it), plus the details you share to get a quote or book: dates, number of people and hotel or area where you are staying.
• Payments: when you pay a deposit through a payment link, Stripe processes your payment. We receive your name, email, phone and the amount, but never your full card details.
• Email: the information you include in your message.

We use web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) that collect anonymous browsing data: pages visited, time on site, device and country. This data does not identify you personally.

3. How we use your data and who we share it with

We use your data only to reply to you, prepare quotes, manage your booking and follow up on it. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

To assist you on WhatsApp we use Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform and our own customer management system, where an artificial intelligence assistant helps us answer and organize conversations; a member of our team supervises the service. To operate, we share data with these providers, who process it on our behalf: Meta (WhatsApp), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI assistant), Groq (voice note transcription), Supabase and Vercel (storage and hosting), Telegram (internal alerts to our team) and the operators of the tour you booked (only what is needed to pick you up and provide the service, such as your name, date, number of people and hotel).

We keep your conversations and booking data for as long as needed to serve you and for the time required by legal or tax obligations.

4. Cookies

The site may use technical cookies necessary for it to work and anonymous analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking for our own commercial purposes.

5. Bookings

Bookings are made directly with us: on WhatsApp or from each tour page, where you can pay the deposit through Stripe (see above). With that payment we receive your name, email, phone, tour date and number of travelers, but never your full card details.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its use, by writing to hola@chiikadventures.com. You can also ask us on WhatsApp. We handle your request within 30 days at most. When we delete your data, we delete your conversations and your record from our customer management system.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy at any time. The last updated date appears at the top of this page. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
