Xplor isn't just zip lines and adrenaline, though it has plenty of both. It's a full day through the underworld of the Riviera Maya: caves, underground rivers, and cenotes that together make up one of the most varied adventure circuits found anywhere in Mexico.
The 14 zip-line runs are split across two entirely independent circuits, so it's possible to complete one first and rest before continuing with the second, rather than tackling all 14 lines in one long, continuous stretch.
The park combines activities rarely found together in a single circuit: navigating underground rivers in hammock boats, crossing cave terrain in amphibious vehicles, and zip-lining over the treetops of the surrounding jungle.
The route includes two zip-line circuits with 14 different lines, a cave walking route, and a swimming circuit through a river of stalactites. The Tobogánxote, a giant slide carved into the natural rock, closes out the day with pure adrenaline.
The all-inclusive ticket covers every activity, the buffet, and unlimited non-alcoholic drinks throughout the day, available with or without round-trip transport from your hotel depending on the rate you choose when booking.
The full experience runs roughly six hours across the park's different stations, and is classified as moderate difficulty due to the physical demands of the zip lines and amphibious vehicles along the route.

What every explorer asks
Do I need to be in good physical shape?
A basic level of fitness is recommended because of the zip lines and amphibious vehicles, but it's not a park built for athletes: it's rated moderate difficulty, not high, and each station is completed at your own pace. Most healthy adults and older teenagers complete the full circuit without difficulty.
Are the zip lines mandatory?
The 14 lines are part of the park's main circuit, split across two independent circuits you can complete separately, resting in between if you need to. There's no way to skip them entirely since they're part of the main route, but you can move through them at your own pace between lines.
What should you wear?
A swimsuit under your clothes and shoes you don't mind getting wet, since most of the park's stations involve direct contact with water at some point along the full route. Avoid clothes you don't want covered in mud, since some stations along the cave circuit include stretches of wet earth.
Which activities are water-based?
The underground rivers in hammock boats, the swimming circuit through the river of stalactites, and the Tobogánxote, the giant slide that closes out the route, all involve water directly, not counting the amphibious vehicles. Together they make up more than half the route, so you end the day wet for most of it.
How long does the full experience take?

Is this the same as Xplor Fuego?
No. Xplor Fuego is the nighttime version of the same circuit, transformed with torches and LED lights and including dinner; this tour is the standard daytime experience, without the dinner component. If you've already visited this park by day, Xplor Fuego gives you a real reason to come back without repeating exactly the same experience.
